"Subhash Ghai Hospitalized for Routine Check-Up, Assures Fans 'All Is Well'"

 Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on December 7, 2024, for a routine health check-up. Initial reports suggested concerns about his health, particularly after he experienced symptoms of speech difficulty and memory loss. However, his spokesperson clarified that there was no cause for alarm, emphasizing that Ghai was "absolutely fine" and the hospital visit was a pre-planned routine check-up​.

Before his hospitalization, Subhash Ghai had attended the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Following his hospital admission, he took to social media to reassure his fans, saying, "ALL IS WELL NOW n see u soon. SMILE AGAIN. thank you." He expressed gratitude to his friends and well-wishers for their support and love​

Ghai's medical history includes Ischemic heart disease, for which he underwent an aortic valve replacement (AVR) in 2009, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in 2011, and pacemaker insertion the same year. He was admitted under the care of Dr. Rohit Deshpande at Lilavati Hospital​
